Here are this week’s CVS scenarios starting 5/26/13. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.
To see this week’s CVS Weekly Ad, go HERE.
Transaction #1
Buy one Revlon Powder, $10.79 (you will receive $4 ECB)
Minus one $2/1 Instant Coupon from the CVS Coupon Center
Minus one $2/1 Revlon Foundation, BB Cream, Powder, Concealer, Primer, Blushes, or Bronzer, exp 06/23/2013 (SS 05/12/13)
If you have left over ECBs from last week use them here!
Total Spent: $6.79
Receive: $4 ECB
Transaction #2
Buy one U by Kotex liners, $3.99 (you will receive $1 ECB)
Minus $4 ECB from Transaction #1
Total Spent: Nothing
Receive: $1 ECB
Transaction #3
Buy two 3 Musketeers bars, $0.75 each (you will receive $0.75 ECB)
Minus one $0.50/2 3 Musketeers Bars printable
Minus $1 ECB from Transaction #2
Total Spent: Nothing
Receive: $0.75 ECB
Total Remaining ECBs to apply towards next week’s ad: $0.75 ECB
Total Out of Pocket for 3 transactions: $6.79 + applicable taxes for approximately $16.00 in products. And if you used left over ECBs in Transaction #1 you can buy even more!
**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire and you want to use them now, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Below you will find the Walgreens Weekly Ad & Coupon Matchups. Another wonderful week to do some shopping at Walgreens. If you haven’t been to Walgreens in a while, make sure you read my post explaining Balance Rewards. HERE. Balance Rewards are taking the place of Register Rewards, and now “points” are taking the place of actual $$$.
Earned Points are converted into Redemption Dollars in five (5) tiers:
(1) 5,000 points = $5
(2) 10,000 points = $10
(3) 18,000 points = $20
(4) 30,000 points = $35
(5) 40,000 points = $50
If you see any other deals or coupon matchups I missed, please leave a comment on this post so that everyone can take advantage of the deal. You can email them to me but I may not have a chance to post each and every deal – so posting them here would be better. Continue reading to see more Walgreens Deals
