I had another great day at Publix today.  I love it when they have good buy one get one sales that can be matched up with high value coupons.  If you haven’t already, please read my post about this week’s Publix sales.  Everything that I did today, you can do too.  And, yes, if you look at my picture above, you may say that I have pasta coming out of my ears.  I do.  But, if you recall, a month ago there was a pink full page ad in the Sunday paper advertising Mueller Pasta and the Race for the Cure.  On the ad was $1.00 off of 2 boxes.  When I used 6 of those coupons today, I was able to get 12 boxes of pasta for 10 cents each.  How could I say no to that?!?

**Important Note to my Couponing Newbies!  There is going to be an amazing $4 off of 4 General Mills Products Coupon in the Publix Flyer.  Since this is a Publix store coupon, we can match this coupon with manufacturer coupons.  In other words, if I buy 4 boxes of Cheerios (priced at 4 for $10), I can use the Publix store $4/4 coupon and 4 printable $1.00 off coupons.  This will make the total price for 4 boxes of Cheerios 50 cents each.  The $4 off of 4 General Mills Products coupon does not specify what you need to buy.  It states the item must be a General Mills product and it must be 5 oz package or larger.  Here is a list of General Mills products.  Please see Southern Savers for more info on awesome General Mills matchups.  Publix intended for their $4/4 coupon to be used on cereal only – however they made an error and omitted the verbiage on the coupon.  Hopefully they will honor their error.

I received an email today from All You Magazine letting me know that Rachel Ray is offering free samples of her dogfood “Nutrish”.  Nutrish dogfood is made of “real meat – like chicken or beef – is the first ingredient. There are no meat by-products, fillers, artificial flavors or preservatives.”  And, the awesome thing about this food is that all of the proceeds from Nutrish go to the animal organization that she started.  If you would like a free sample go Here.

I should have posted this coupon yesterday, but better late than never! There is nothing better than a cheap and healthier alternative to typical fast food fare! For all you couponing newbies, a money maker is an item where you will get more money back in rewards than you spend.  In other words, you make money on the purchase!

This week at Walgreens, Quaker 1 Minutes Oats are $3.19 each.  Buy 4 cartons.

• Walgreens has a RR deal where if you spend $10 on Quaker products, you will receive $5 RR.
• Walgreens has an in-ad coupon this week making Quaker Oats B1G1.
• Use two $1.25/2 coupons in the 8/30 RP.

Restaurant.com is a wonderful place to buy cheap gift certificates.  The gift certificates start as low as $10 off of $20 and go as high as $100 off of $200.  My favorite gift certificate range is $25 off of $35.  That gets me and my husband a lot of food for only $10 + tip!

For my Tampa Bay neighbors, one of my favorite restaurants currently has a gift certificate on Restaurant.com.  Giordano’s (my favorite go-to restaurant for Chicago style pizza) has a $25 off of $35 certificate.  For $35 you can get a fully loaded, large Chicago style pizza as well as salads & a dessert.  Not bad for the $10.00 (plus tip) you will have to pay when you eat there!!

There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from.  At $2.00 or less per gift certificate, why not try a few?

At least 85% of the time, when I order anything online, I get cashback.  The amount of money I get back depends on the store.. sometimes it’s 10% sometimes it’s 2%.. it varies.  So far, I’ve received two checks in the mail, both of them totalling $58.00.  Does this sound too good to be true?  Go Here  to check it out.    Cashbaq is a rewards program that pays you a certain percentage back when you use their website.  Basically, it works like this…

 1.  Set up an account Here.   Give your mailing address because when they send you’re your payment checks it needs to go to the right address!

These coupons are hot when you match them with a sale.  One of the best tips I can give you is to hold onto your coupons until the item goes on sale.  Patience will pay off.  That way, you can match a sale price with a coupon to maximize your savings!
