Photo Show and Tell – Publix 7/22/10

by Addicted to Saving on July 23, 2010

This post is a bit late considering I went shopping yesterday (Thursday) around 9 a.m.!  That is an example of my life right now – a bit crazy!  Publix has an amazing deal on TombStone pizzas and as you can see, I stocked up!  I actually spent THE MOST money on one purchase since starting this website.  I’m not quite sure what happened besides the fact that I bought juice, Miracle Whip and a few veggies?  The Fresh Express salad is on sale B1G1 and I didn’t have a coupon for them *gasp*.  So, I did spend a lot out of pocket on the salad..  Oh well!  I’m still pleased!  I ended up saving 84.8% which I am thrilled about considering the amount I spent out of pocket ;)

The items I purchased today coincide with this week’s Publix Weekly ad.  To see this week’s ad & coupon matchups, go HERE.

If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post!

HI Liza, I noticed on some of my Crest coupons it says (excludes, cavity, tartar and baking soda protection). I have about 3 (.75) coupons which stated that. Therefore, I did not use them, was I correct for not using those coupons.

Hi Marie – I used the $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste coupon from 7/4/10 PG. Check that coupon and see what the verbiage says on that one? I have used all mine but I think it said any Crest Toothpaste 4oz+?

Marie & Liza,

It seems there are two versions of the Crest coupon as I have both! They are each for .75/1 Crest paste 4.0 oz or larger however one states ‘excludes Cavity, Baking Sada & Tartar Protection) while the other has something in Spanish written below instead. Also, they both expire on 7/31/10.

Stupid question… do you have to buy 10 toothpastes to get the 10/$10 deal or are they $1 each regardless if you buys less than 10?

Hi Karen! Not a stupid question at all! You do not have to buy 10. If you live in FL, the only time you have to buy a certain amount of items is during B1G1 sales. $10/10 deals or 2/$5.00 deals are totally different. You only have to buy one item in those deals.

Hi Liza,

I wanted to share this great coupon for Honest Kids juice pouches,I buy @ Publix. My daughter loves them and they have much less sugar than Capri Sun. They are not on sale, I just thought I would share the site:
