I’m excited that Liza is letting me “guest blog” today, primarily because I get to do two things for my wife that I know she would never do herself: brag about how awesome she is and make a plea on her behalf.
Liza is naturally a very private person. Yet in ...

Publix Weekly Ad 2/2/12 – 2/8/12 or 2/1/12 – 2/7/12
by Addicted to Saving on January 30, 2012
Below is the Publix Weekly Ad & Coupon Matchups for the week of 2/2/12 – 2/8/12 (or 2/1/12 – 2/7/12 for those of you whose ads start on Wednesdays) Make sure you click where it says “Display all Matchups” so that you don’t miss any deals. There are also a ton of Publix store in-ad coupons and I’ve included their manufacturer coupon matchups! Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, unadvertised deals or typos! The deals below are taken from a Tampa ad-scan. As the days go on, I will update this ad.
******Seven Main Notes to my readers : 1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post. 2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon. 3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.” 4) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less. 5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors. 6) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays 7) To see Publix’s color full ad, go Here. The ad will not update until the new ad is live!
**Also – make sure you click the link at the bottom of this post that says “Display All Matchups
Not the greatest sale at Publix, but there’s surely enough for me to get to $100 and plan to pay very little for it. Between the ad and the two Advantage flyers (including freebies and MMs) MINUS the coupon matchups and the $5 off WYB $30 coupons (from Enjoy The City booklets) and the $10 gift card from this ad’s deal – it should work out well. I just don’t know if I can fit everything in my fridge. I better invite some folks over to start eating up what’s in there with us, lol.
PS – I plan to use the $10 gift card that I receive from the ad to help pay for this same transaction.
Just saw your post asking which are the money makers. Tomorrow, I plan to buy:
6 Phazyme @ $2.49 ea, using 6 $2/1 printed MQs -and- 3 Green Adv $5/2 Store Qs.
6 Sominex @ $2.19 ea, using 6 $2/1 printed MQs -and- 3 Green Adv $5/2 Store Qs.
(we have 4 computers to print from in our house, and i printed )
Total = $28.08
AFTER COUPONS = Overage of $25.92 + $5/30 Winn-Dixie Q = $30.92 Overage/Money Maker
(To get to the $30, I’ll grab Mt. Olive pickles @BOGO $2.99, less $2 in MQs which will cost .99). So I’ll have $29.93 Overage to apply to produce and other items.
there is a $2 off 20ct pampers or larger (Publix coupon) on a sheet called “running out? run in.” that I picked up from Publix in Tarpon or Holiday, FL
Barilla deal does NOT include the Barilla Plus (wheat pastas), so all of the coupons available are no good. It’s just gonna be a BOGO deal, which is still good, but not as good as it appears here.
I know I’m a little late but I saw on Iheartpublix.com that there is a $1.00/1 Lipton 12-pack that matches the B2G1 sale this week. The coupon is printed with a Walgreens logo in the corner but it IS a manufacturer coupon. I double checked with customer service before I used it and they were more than happy to accept it.

I also found a $1/2 Nabisco Target coupon. Combined with the manufacturer coupon should make a great deal– under $1 per item!
Ugghh I dont see much I could use!
Please share some of the money makers with us if you don’t mind Coupon Clipper!!

The apple and eve Facebook page is out of coupons
Not finding the Target coupon for $5 off for the TGIF items
Me Either, they aren’t there
Let me know if you would like the Target Friday’s coupon
The sale doesn’t start until 2/2/12, but all the coupons listed for Tampax expire 1/31/12! Confused!

Hey, the $1/1 Milk bone coupon expired on 1/6/12, not 11/6/12

Sweetbay has a new coupon booklet. Sweet Inspirations for Super Sensations. Good through 2/29/12. In it is a Dixie plates $1 off 2.
You have this:
Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage, assorted, 12 or 16 oz pkg, 2 for $6
-$0.55/1 Jimmy Dean Product, exp. 2/19/12 (RP 01/08/12)
But the coupon is -$.55/2. There IS one for one Jimmy Dean product, but that excludes rolls.
Thank you for all the deals you post!
