Publix Weekly Ad 2/9/12 – 2/15/12 or 2/8/12 – 2/14/12

by Addicted to Saving on February 6, 2012

Below is the Publix Weekly Ad & Coupon Matchups for the week of 2/9/12 – 2/15/12 (or 2/8/12 – 2/14/12 for those of you whose ads start on Wednesdays)  Make sure you click where it says “Display all Matchups” so that you don’t miss any deals.  There are also a ton of Publix store in-ad coupons and I’ve included their manufacturer coupon matchups!  Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, unadvertised deals or typos! The deals below are taken from a Tampa ad-scan. As the days go on, I will update this ad.

******Seven Main Notes to my readers :

1) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon.
2) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.”
3) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
4) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.
5) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays
6) To see Publix’s color full ad, go Here. The ad will not update until the new ad is live!

**Also – make sure you click the link at the bottom of this post that says “Display All Matchups

The PQ for the multi-grain cheerios cereals isn’t a match after all–it states 8.9-9 oz box, but the sale is on the 11.3 – 14 oz box. Man, I was so hoping to use those q’s this week, grr….

I was wondering if anyone had heard about Publix changing their coupon policy. I was at the Bardmoor Publix in Largo, FL yesterday and tried to do the $10/$100 deal plus I had a $5.00/$50 from Albertson’s and a $5.00/$50 from Publix. The cashier stated that in order for me to use all three I had to spend pre-coupons $200.00. I asked her when that had changed and if it was all Publix and she called over the Customer Service Manager who stated it had changed company wide a couple of days ago. :(

I just used a Winn Dixie $5/$30, Publix $5/$30 and $10/$100 gift card deal this Saturday for my order, totaling $100.51. They never questioned it and I always ask about the policy. I was told previously that the gift cards are different than the coupons for money off. I think it also depends on who you get as a cashier. I’d call and ask to talk to the manager.

I used a 5.00/50.00 GFS and 5.00/30.00 Publix and after coupons my total was 90.00 after coupons, the cashier tried to say the same thing to me, luckily the manager was helping her bag my groceries, and said I was allowed to do it, and pointed to a sign that was taped at her register saying it was ok.

Dollar off coupons should be accepted based on your BEFORE coupon total not your AFTER coupon total. If using both a Publix and a competitor dollars off coupon then your before coupon total must equal or exceed the COMBINED purchase requirements of both dollar off coupons. The coupon for a $10 Publix gift card when you spend $100 (BEFORE other coupons) could be considered the same as another dollars off coupon OR the same as a gas card coupon. Most stores appear to be treating them like a gas card coupon and allowing them to be combined with Publix and competitor dollars off coupons.

the publix on west bay and indian rocks Largo fl, has been doing that for weeks If you want to use a competitor coupon of $5.00 off $50.00 I have to still have a $50.00 balance after all my publix and man coupons and other store coupons are used /deducted.

I shop at the Belcher/East Bay store and the Largo Mall store. Both of them in recent weeks have made me have the combined total of dollar off coupons, i.e. $5/30 Winn Dixie and $5/30 Publix = $60 in product.

Once, I even tried to say, no that’s not what your policy states (and pulled out my policy I keep handy) and the manager said it was that time. I do think the Publix policy is questionable. In my opinion it could be interperted either way.

The only dollar off coupon that I am aware of that states it must be used AFTER all other coupons is the Albertson’s $5/50. The Publix and Winn Dixie coupons do not state that. I make sure to specifically ask the cashier to run the dollar off coupons first and the majority of the time they don’t even question me. Make sure you read all of the fine print.

There was that -$1/4 Rice-A-Roni coupon on FB earlier that should work nicely for this week’s BOGO deal :)

Ok sorry I missed it. Lucky I still had some papers left over. I buy ten. I know that’s a lot but I was able to save $20.00 this week with that coupon! Or let’s just say it paid for the papers and still saved $10.00! Thanks for all you do!

Liza, was wondering where you found the publix booklet with the yogurt coupons in it? I haven’t seen it around, do you have a picture of it on your website?

Rondee February 8, 2012 at 7:39 pm

@ Tori my Publix is the same. If I wanted to use a 5.00/50.00 winn dixie coupon and a 5.00/ 30.00 publix coupon i would need to spend at least 80.00 prior to coupons. Been that way here for about three months now. :( Im in central Florida.
