This Sunday we should see up to one insert in our papers. We should see one RP (Red Plum) inserts. Remember that coupon inserts vary per region and newspaper so you may not see every insert. Sunday Coupon Preview has some of the previews listed now. Go HERE to see a list of all of the potential coupons we should see this Sunday.

  • You will want to buy at least two newspapers on Sundaybecause many stores allow you to use two coupons on a Buy One Get One Free sale. And remember, the more duplicate coupons you have, the more you will be able to stockpile when your favorite item is dirt cheap!
  • My tip for you (as always) is to check your newspapers BEFORE you buy them to make sure they have all the inserts. Inserts vary regionally and from newspaper to newspaper so make sure you are getting the correct inserts before you make your purchase.

If you do not get the Sunday paper and want to purchase full coupon inserts or individual coupons, some of my favorites coupon clipping sites are below (and like all things, shop around and compare the prices as well as the shipping costs :

If you are in need of cereal, head over to Publix! This weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 2/17-2/18) all Kellogg’s cereal is on sale 50% off!!  There are times like these when I wish I had kids to buy fun cereals for!  Since we don’t, we bought cereals for some of our favorite kiddos and also a couple for us.  In the picture in front of you, there are 15 boxes of Kellogg’s cereals as well as one carton of Publix Half & Half.  We used three $5.00 off 5 Kellogg’s Cereal coupons, one $5.00 off $30+ Publix coupon and our cashier also let us use one $2/$2 Publix coupon.  So, everything in the picture cost $11.69 which was savings of 81.6%.  Not too shabby!!

**update – as a head’s up – make sure you don’t make the same mistake I did.. The coupon is good for boxes 10 oz+ and I mistakingly got two boxes that were under 10 oz..

If you haven’t printed the HOT $5.00/5 Kellogg’s Cereal coupon, I think it is still available.  Go HERE and type in zip 79928.

This is another slow week at Walgreens and I had a tough time putting together scenarios for all of you.  Feel free to take the week off if you prefer!  ;) This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Total Remaining RRs to apply towards next week’s ad: $2.00 RR
Total Out of Pocket for 2 transactions: $5.99+ applicable taxes for approximately $23 in products. And if you use RRs from last week in Transaction #1 you will save even more!

**Also – Don’t forget that your RRs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your RRs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!
