33 Sweetbay Supermarket Locations Will Be Closed By Today (2/7/13)

by Addicted to Saving on February 6, 2013

sweetbay logo

On Addicted to Saving’s Facebook page, we have been chatting a lot about the closing of many Sweetbay locations.  Originally, the Sweetbay locations were scheduled to close by mid-February.  However, because most stores have sold out of their inventory sooner than expected, all 33 stores are already closed or will close by today, Wednesday, 2/7/13.  I will continue to post Sweetbay Supermarket coupon matchups because there are still stores throughout the state that are open.

**Side note – last week I went to the Sweetbay near me that was closing. Everything as on sale 50% off.  The shelves were almost entirely wiped clean although I was able to get some gluten-free foods as well as some dried beans.  I was disappointed, however, to see that Sweetbay had raised the prices of many of their items perhaps to compensate a bit for the 50% off sale..

Closed Monday, 2/4/13: Stores in Kenneth City, Dunedin, Bradenton, Punta Gorda, Zephyrhills, Spring Hill, Plant City, Clermont, Tarpon Springs, Tampa, New Port Richey and Trinity.

Closed Tuesday, 2/5/13: 501 N. Beneva Rd,, Suite 180, Sarasota; 6095 Ninth Ave. N, St. Petersburg; 955 62nd Ave. S, St. Petersburg; 1861 N. Highland Ave., Clearwater; 3410 US Highway 301, Ellenton; 8750 State Road 70 East, Bradenton; 2482 Immokalee Road, Naples; 5926 Premier Way, Naples; 4015 Santa Barbara Blvd., Naples; 7580 49th St. N, Pinellas Park; 5050 10th Ave. East, Tampa; and 4500 S Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa.

Closing Today, 2/6/123: 1794 22nd St. S, St. Petersburg; 3400 E. Lake Road, Palm Harbor; 9017 S.R. 52, Hudson; 2333 W. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa; 4519 Gunn Highway, Tampa; 5320 Ehrlich Road, Tampa; 6220 North Highway 98, Lakeland; 17605 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa; and 1714 US Highway 27, Suite 12, Clermont.
