We are taking our kiddos for the first time later this month and we are so excited! Worlds of Enchantment is a world Disney magic. The show includes Lightning McQueen, Mater and the crew of Disney (my son will LOVE this). Pixar’s Cars perform high-speed stunts and race across the ice like you’ve never seen before!

Fans of The Little Mermaid will be amazed as Ariel dives into the underwater kingdom. And of course there is Toy Story! Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and other favorites from the Toy Story gang will try and escape from Sunnyside Daycare in one of their most daring adventure ever.

My daughter’s favorite movie is Frozen. During Worlds of Enchantment, we will enter the wintery world of Arendelle with sisters Anna and Elsa. Join Anna as she embarks on an epic journey with the hilarious snowman Olaf and rugged mountain-man Kristoff to find her sister, the magical Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

I received free products in order to host the Disney Kids Preschool Playdate. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was so excited when we were selected to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate! My son is all about Disney – right now his favorite movies are Cars and also Cars Toons: Mater’s Tall Tales. So when I told him that Disney was sending us a box filled with goodies, he was SO EXCITED.

Disney sent us a 17 pound box filled with fun surprises from each of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! (Scroll to the bottom of this post to watch my son open our box!) And they sent more than I ever would have imagined. The box was filled with Disney party supplies, party favors, fun game ideas and an awesome Sofia the First suitcase. You might think that my son wouldn’t like the suitcase, but he LOVES it. I’ve tried to tell him that the suitcase is for when we go on trips….. but right now, he is enjoying filling it up and walking all around our house with it. And, when he goes to Grandma’s house (she lives 5 minutes away), he brings his suitcase. It’s quite adorable.

I want to tell you that we threw a HUGE party for all of my son’s preschool aged friends. But in actuality, we had a small get-together with friends. This has been a rough winter for us. I have been sick pretty much every day since Christmas. And with the craziness of trying to get ready to adopt in a little over a month, life is hectic! So we had just a few friends over and had a fun, laid back time.

To go along with my “laid back” theme, I decided I was going to make Mickey Mouse cookies. Originally, I was going to make sugar cookies from scratch and decorate them with different colored icing. BUT, my hubby was out of town all week and I was left parenting full time and working full time. So I had to find an easier option. Using my Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutters that I ordered on Amazon and store bought Triple Chip Cookie Dough (that was on sale BOGO), I was able to make these adorable cookies!

To make the cookies, I placed the cookie dough on parchment paper. I didn’t break apart the cookies because I wanted to make them into a rectangle bar. Then, I topped the cookie dough with more parchment paper and using a rolling pin, rolled the dough so that it was thinner. Then, I baked the dough according to the directions on the package. I ended up baking it a bit longer until the top turned a bit brown. Once the bar cooled, I used my cookie cutter and cut out the cutest little Triple Chip Mickey Mouse cookies.

Lunch was the same theme as the cookies. Quick and easy. I made Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches and made them into Mickey Mouse sandwiches by using my two trusted Mickey Mouse cookie cutters.

The sandwiches were a hit. They were the perfect size and adorable.

table

Decorating the table was a breeze using all of the party supplies Disney sent us. How cute does the table look! I especially loved being able to use pictures from Disney World as decorations. Below is a picture from Animal Kingdom as well as all of the fun Animal Kingdom animals that we received. The animals were a hit – all of the kiddos wanted to play with them!

The kids also loved the Disney hats. One side had a Princess Sophia crown and the other side had a Jake and the Neverland Pirates hat.

hatAnd then let’s be honest, the kids of course loved drinking their Nestle Nesquik Chocolate Milk! Chocolate milk makes every preschool play date better! :)

After lunch, the kiddos (even the baby) decided to play us a concerto on the piano. I let them play just long enough to snap this cute picture. 😉

The goal… Tire out three preschoolers. #race #sunnyday

Then we sent them outside to burn off some steam. We were able to play a few games and then my son’s friends went home as it was naptime for everyone!

I was able to send the kiddos home with some fun goodies like a Lion King poster, tattoos, and more. My favorite memento from our Disney Kids Preschool Playdate Party was the HP Photo Booth Strips I printed out. How cute did these pictures come out!

We had a great time at our Disney Kids Preschool Playdate Party! My son is already asking when Disney will send him another box so that he can have another party (he wants a bigger one next time)!

I received free products in order to host the Disney Kids Preschool Playdate. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Are there any Disney fans out there? You might think that because my husband and I do not yet have kiddos (we are in the midst of adopting), we don’t watch Disney movies. But in actuality, my husband and I LOVE Disney movies.  One of my favorite Disney movies is Finding Nemo.  And, because of that, one of our favorite rides to go on in Epcot is The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

I received an email from Disney/Pixar today letting me know that on November 25, 2015, Disney/Pixar will be releasing Finding Dory!  I know that there is a good deal of time between now and that date, but I wanted to give you a head’s up because I know many of you will be as excited as I!  You can “like” Finding Dory on Facebook HERE and follow Disney/Pixar on Twitter HERE to stay up-to-date on exciting Finding Dory announcements.
