My hubby and I have been blessed with our 10 year old cat. We adopted Rosie from an animal shelter back in 2002 and out of the four animal babies we have had since marriage, Rosie has by far been the easiest pet to take care of. She’s never sick. She’s low maintenance. She likes to be near you when she’s cold. And she is adorable. The perfect combination for a kitty.
When I was offered the opportunity to test Comfort Zone® with Feliway®, at first I was hesistant because Rosie really low key. But then I realized that Rosie gets stressed when we are gone. She doesn’t do anything destructive, but in general, she will act extremely anxious. If we are away for just a night, once we return, Rosie is clingy and will often roam our hallways howling. I can just imagine how she is when we are gone and she is home alone. (Don’t worry – I always have neighbors checking on her.) So when we leave, we plug in our Comfort Zone® with Feliway® Diffuser to help calm Rosie in our absence.
Comfort Zone® products help reduce stress-related behavior in cats by mimicking their natural pheromones that help them feel calm and comfortable in their environment. Comfort Zone® products are 95% effective at reducing scratching and urine marking for cats.
The way Comfort Zone® with Feliway® Diffuser works is once plugged in, it continuously releases an odorless vapor that mimics the soothing feline facial pheromone. Comfort Zone® with Feliway® also has a spray which you can spray in an area your cat has recently marked or scratched. If you are traveling with your cat, you can even spray your cat’s crate to help calm them. (I am giving the spray to my mom – her cat Bogey sprays the inside of his crate when she takes him to the vet.)
