Not sure about the Apple app but on the Android version it wants access to your phone’s contact list. This may not be an issue for some but I choose not to use it because of this.

Hi! I joined Ibotta last week, when you first posted about it. How do I get the $5 cerdit for being a first time user? So far I only have $2 pending in my account from some of the items I purchased. Thanks!

I signed up for this and did the Frosted Flakes. I was allowed to submit my reciept twice. First time for $1.25 and second time for $1.00 since I did the bogo @Publix. So my cereal ended up costing me $0.32/box. Love the app.
