It is a pretty slow week at CVS. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.
If you are new to shopping at CVS, go HERE to read Intro to CVS.

Total Out of Pocket for 3 transactions: $4.96+ applicable taxes for approximately $18 in products. And if you use ECBs from last week in Transaction #1 you will save even more!
**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Hi, I am Bree from My Money Saving Recipes. In case you missed her post, I am doing the Publix Photo Show and Tell for Liza this week!
I checked the fridge and pantry before I left for Publix and realized that I stocked up on a lot of stuff last week. I also found myself thinking, “Did we not eat at home this week?” We had so many dinner foods in the freezer. I was happy until I remembered that my husband was in charge of the kids and his dinners 2 nights this week since I had plans! I also noticed that the granola bars and the a couple of the 10 boxes of cereals that we bought this past weekend ($5/5 cereal coupon) had been eaten (perhaps dinner for the kids and hubby? :)) I can’t complain because when my husband gets home he is all about the kids! I brought my trusty sidekick, Charlie with me on this shopping trip. Half way through, I took this picture. Do any of you remember the Where’s Waldo books? I played my own version of Where’s Charlie? 🙂 Yes… he is kicking my bread! Good thing he’s cute!
I forgot my M&M coupons, so I THINK I will go back to purchase those. I have a 2 year old who needs a little positive reinforcement (aka bribing) when it comes to potty training… and oh, who am I kidding, I’m going to eat the majority of them :)!! I will also need to go back at some point to get milk. We try to stick to $60 a week for food and we usually do. This week I might be under! Sorry for the bad quality of the picture. I couldn’t get it any brighter in the kitchen. Okay, here is the photo!
Leave a comment to let us know how you did this week at Publix!
