We’ve had a wonderful week this week! I never told all of you this while he was gone, but hubby was away for almost two weeks on a missions trip in Ethiopia and then Uganda. So it was just me “manning” the house, the pets and then of course blogging. Hubby got home over the weekend and life is slowly going back to normal which is nice. I also posted this just a few days ago but we have accepted a referral for a 2 month old baby boy in Ethiopia. (If interested, go HERE to read more info on our adoption blog) So life has been a bit crazy as we are scrambling to gather the necessary paperwork, schedule yet another homestudy and then schedule the necessary doctor appointments needed for us to have our adoption proceed quickly. It is crazy to think that in just two or three months we will be in Ethiopia. Hmm… I wonder if I will be able to blog while in Ethiopia? 
With the craziness of my life lately, shopping hasn’t been a huge priority. But for the first time in a long time, I felt excited about this week’s shopping trip since there were some awesome deals to take advantage of! As you all already know, last night I sent hubby to Publix to get us 12 boxes of Dr. Pepper for $0.33 each. (Go HERE to see our photo show and tell from last night.) Tonight, I had enough Dr Pepper coupons to get four more 12-packs. I did get a lot of produce since I was running low. So the produce and eggs drove my total up a bit, but I still saved a ton of money using $49.00 worth of coupons!

Just wanted to say congrats on the adoption. My sister and her husband adopted a baby boy from Ethiopia 7 years ago and he is such a blessing to our whole family!
