Publix Weekly Ad and Coupon Matchups 8/30/12 – 9/5/12 or 8/29/12 – 9/4/12

by Addicted to Saving on August 27, 2012

There are some good deals this week at Publix! You may find the prices below vary slightly with your store’s pricing.  Also – remember that printable coupons often disappear quickly so if you do not see it, that means it has reached its limit. Also – some coupons in Sunday newspaper inserts are regional so not everyone will have the same coupon. Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, unadvertised deals or typos!

******Six Main Notes to Publix Shoppers:

1) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon.
2) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.”
3) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
4) Publix accepts competitor coupons and allows for one competitor and one manufacturer coupon on one item. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.
5) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays
6) To see Publix’s color full ad, go Here. The ad will not update until the new ad is live!

**Also – make sure you click the link at the bottom of this post that says “Display All Matchups

Hi! Can you please help me understand how to get the Lay’s potato chip’s for FREE plus overage with only 1 $3/1 coupon when the chips are $4.29 BOGO? I was was able to get 2 of the $3/1 coupon last week. Thanks! =)

Hi Cheryl! If you have two $3/1 coupons, you will buy two bags for $4.29 (or $2.15 per bag), use two $3/1 coupons (this will deduct $6.00) and you will get them for free plus overage :) I know this is confusing – let me know if you need me to clarify further!

Oh – Cheryl – wait – so are you talking about the $3/2 coupon? There was a $3/1 coupon as well. You can only use one $3.00/2 coupon on two bags of chips. This coupon will not get you free chips but will get you an awesome deal. I’m sorry for the confusion, I thought you were talking about a different coupon.

I was actually able to get 2 of both coupons. I am planning to use the two $3/1 first and then maybe go back for more and use the $3/2 another day.

**-FREE Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, 10 oz, WYB 2 Heinz Tomato Ketchup, PUBLIX COUPON Publix Booklet, Toss 4 Cash (exp 09/15/2012)**

The Publix coupon specifically states, Buy 2 bottles Heinz Tomato Ketchup (32 or 36 oz.) for the ketchup. The BOGO in the ad is for the 40 oz. Heinz Tomato Ketchup.

I need some help with the B2G2 Pepsi sale this week. If I want to take advantage of the yellow adv flyer coupon of B2G1, how would this work? I always have problems with the B1G1 sales and coupons where I get free items. Would I pay for two and get three free or would I pay for one and get three free? I’m so lost! lol Thanks :)

I saw a scenario someone gave of buying twelve 12-packs of Mountain Dew, using the yellow advantage flyer coupon and a Winn Dixie $5 off $30 and getting all twelve for $5. I’m not seeing how the math would come out on that. I’m seeing paying for four and getting six for free and that’s without the $5 Winn Dixie coupon. Thanks for your help. :)

Teresa,
I bought five 12-packs of Dr Pepper today for free .. here’s how I did it: the store has them for B2G2 & I used 1 Yellow Advantage Flyer B2G1 coupon .. which basically meant I payed for 2 & got 3 free. Then I used 5 $1/1 Target coupons (Dr Pepper only) and 5 $1/1 Manufacturer coupons (again, Dr Pepper only) from the 6/24 SS insert. The 2 that I paid for were $4.99 ea & I used $10 worth of coupons, which made them all free (with 2 cent overage)

Hi,

I wanted to do this deal also, but I didn’t know you can use (1) Publix Yellow Advantage Flyer B2G1 Q along with the manufacturers Q’s & Target Q’s. I thought Publix’s coupon policy states we could stack (1) Manufacturer & (1) Competitor OR (1) (Publix) never all 3. Can someone please help.

I found a few unadvertised BOGO items while shopping today. Yucatan Fresh Guacamole in the produce section is BOGO. There is a BOGO coupon on their Facebook page. I also saw Marzetti Dip BOGO and State Fair Corndogs BOGO.
