Pet owners, if you don’t have your pets microchipped, I highly recommend you get it done. I have my two dogs and cat microchipped and it gives me a little peace of mind that if they ran away, I would be able to find them as soon as they were dropped off to the pound or a local vet. If you live in Tampa Bay, this weekend, the Humane Society on 3809 N. Armenia Avenue is microchipping pets for FREE to prepare for Hurricane Isaac. During hurricanes, pets will often become displaced from their homes and having your pets microchipped will help you find them quickly. This free service is available Saturday, August 25th and Sunday, August 26th from 8:30 am – 3 pm. You do not need an appointment. For more information, go HERE.

This is awesome! I have one left to be chipped and I am going to take her in.
I went from Pinellas County with my daughter to get her pug microchipped there. It was a ZOO!!!! Over a hundred people at least – we waited an hour and a quarter but got him DONE! The chipping part took about 2 seconds once we FINALLY got in the exam room!
