I have finally updated my spending and savings for the month of January!  How did you do last month??

This isn’t exactly a sale or deal, but I know that our hearts go out to the Haitians and so many of us want to help.  This Saturday (Feb 6th at 8 a.m.) there is a 5k Walk/Run, a 1 Mile Fun Run and a Kids 1k Fun Run.  If you live near Tampa and would be interested in participating, go Here to register online.

We took a temporary hiatus this evening but we are back  with increased internet bandwith and a server that is now prepared to handle all of our traffic!  We are growing quicker than expected!  It’s a great problem to have!

I don’t have any Food Lions near me, but I do know that many of my readers have them near you.  Some Food Lions are closing  you might want to call your local store to find out if any in your area are on the list.

From what I read, as of today, the stores that are closing have everything discounted 30% and you can use manufacturer coupons on top of that.. If you have a store near you that’s closing, I would wait until the discount is higher and then start stockpiling…

My mom called me this morning to let me know that Johnson & Johnson are having a huge recall of Extra-Strength Tylenol, Children’s Tylenol, Eight-hour Tylenol, Tylenol Arthritis, Tylenol PM, Children’s Motrin, Motrin IB, Benadryl Rolaids, Simply Sleep, and St. Joseph’s aspirin.
