Walgreens is unveiling their new Balance Rewards program this weekend. Starting Sunday (9/16/12), Walgreens will begin offering less and less Register Rewards deals and more Balance Rewards deals. Balance Rewards is a new program where you have to sign up (either online or in-store) for a Balance Rewards Card. With your card, you will earn points as you purchase specially marked deals, as you make purchases or get immunizations, as you participate in Walk with Walgreens and more. Your Balance points will upload to your account within 3-5 days after your purchase.

Earned Points are converted into Redemption Dollars in five (5) tiers:
(1) 5,000 points = $5
(2) 10,000 points = $10
(3) 18,000 points = $20
(4) 30,000 points = $35
(5) 40,000 points = $50

I signed up when they first opened enrollment and I haven’t received a card yet. Do you know when they’re supposed to go out?
oh ok. well it let me register….. when I went to look at it today, it said I was already registered… I’ll check back on Sunday and see what it says. Thanks!
FYI- you can get a card at the store by asking cashier to attatch a card to your phone number, or be cardless by typing in phone # on pipad at checkout.
