This is my favorite time of the year. As a family we read our advent book every night, open our advent calendars every night and also read lots of Christmas books and watch lots of Christmas movies. It’s a fun time way to have lots of family time and to get excited for Christmas! One of my favorite holiday books and movies when I was a child was the cartoon version of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! I’ve also loved the newer version ever since it debuted 20 years ago! Valpak presents a special who-liday with JOLLY TIME Popcorn to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the classic live action version of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

We love JOLLY TIME Popcorn. My kids get so excited whenever I make popcorn because it means they are going to have a fun movie night! I like to spice up our popcorn a little but very simply adding a little sugar and cinnamon. If I’m feeling extra advantageous I will make caramel popcorn. But for nights like this when I don’t have as much time, I will simply sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on the hot popcorn (the trick is to do this right as it comes out of the microwave) and then stir it in. It’s a fun way to make a salty/sweet popcorn concoction.

Make sure you are on the lookout for the Valpak envelope to find a $1 JOLLY TIME Popcorn coupon in it! You may get lucky because thousands of envelopes will contain a certificate for a free box of JOLLY TIME Popcorn! Also - make sure you go HERE to enter Valpak’s ‘Tis the Season to be Jolly Sweepstakes for a chance to win $10,000 in Christmas Cash, sponsored by JOLLY TIME!
What is your favorite holiday movie to watch as a family? Make sure you watch Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas this year! And make sure you pop the popcorn to snack on during the movie!

Thanks for coming to Addicted to Saving! Here’s a little bit about me so you can know who’s behind all these posts!
My name is Liza and I began my money-saving journey in the Spring of 2009 as a way to stretch a limited household income. I had lost my job and my hubby was self-employed. I launched Addicted to Saving in November of 2009 and it has grown by leaps and bounds. Since then, my hubby and I have struggled with the ups and downs of two failed adoptions and are now LOVING being parents to our little man Asher who we brought home from Ethiopia in August of 2013. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to help you save money. My goal is that you will have FUN and become empowered to save more and more money each week..
