Publix Weekly Ad 9/15/11 - 9/21/11

by Addicted to Saving on September 12, 2011

Another so-so week at Publix! There are a couple of deals I’m going to take advantage of, but I’m thinking this may be a good week to eat off my frozen food and pantry items I have stockpiled away. What do you think of this week’s ad? Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, deals or typos! This week, I am giving you the Tampa ad-scan. As the days go on, I will update this ad.

******Seven Main Notes to my readers :
1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.
2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon.
3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.”
4) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.
6) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays
7) To see Publix’s color full ad, go Here!

**Also – make sure you click the link at the bottom of this post that says “Display All Matchups”

Quaker Chewy Granola Bars , or Smashbar Snack Bars, assorted, 6.1-6.7 box, BOGO $3.09 for two
**If the $1/1 Publix coupon covers the size on sale BOGO, Buy 2, use one $1/1 Publix (or two if your store allows), use one $0.75/2, makes them $0.67 -

Just an FYI….the Stocking Spree Publix q’s state on it, NOT to be used in conjunction with any other Qs!

I don’t think the Publix Stocking Spree coupon is a size match anyway.

The Voila Family Size bags are about 42 oz so that coupon won’t be a match.

The Target Nabisco B3G1 cookies/crackers coupon expired on 9/10.

There is also a $2 off Cinnamon Toast Crunch in the Yellow Flyer - making for some FREE cereal this week.

It’s not a size match.

Susan September 12, 2011 at 10:37 am

@Alicia it is not the same size that is BOGO, it is the same size that is marked down to $2.99 this week though:D

Alicia September 12, 2011 at 10:53 am

I always forget to look at sizes! Thanks Susan.

For the Rosetto coupons… when you go to the website and click on “Save $1.50″ or whatever it states… it gives you this message:

There are no prints available for this campaign.

So, I’m assuming print limit reached. Bah-humbug! ;)
