I’m liking this week’s ad! There seems to be some good deals - especially if you have saved the coupon inserts and printed out many of the coupons from the past few weeks! ******Seven Main Notes to my readers :
1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.
2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon.
3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.”
4) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.

What’s the difference between ‘one per purchase’ and ‘one per transaction’?

Addicted to Saving September 26, 2011 at 2:46 pm: Hi Jennifer! Awesome question! “One per purchase” means you can use one coupon per item purchased. So, if you have a $1/1 Pepsi coupon, you can use one coupon per Pepsi that you purchase. If the coupon says “one per transaction”, it means you can only use one of that coupon in your entire transaction. And, to throw a wrench at you, if the coupon says “one per customer” it basically means that you should only use one coupon ever. Hope that helps! Let me know if I can help further!

There is a $0.75/1 coupon for the Garden Lites Vegetable Souffle in the 9/25 SS. With the BOGO sale it makes them $0.99 each if you use two $0.75/1 coupons.

I did great at Publix today! I got a lot of stockpile stuff I needed. I got the soup (which I just ran out of from the Italian days sale), cereal, snackwells, banquet chicken….I did great! I spent $21.24 with tax, and saved $173.76 so I’m thrilled! I’m also going to submit for the $10 Publix gift card Bring the Tailgate Home rebate, so my out of pocket will actually wind up being $11.24
